UltraTech 9310 Ultra-Filter-Tex, Roll, 60″W x 250’L

Ultra-Filter-Tex® is a state-of-the-art, high-performance sorbent, and filter media that allows large volumes of water to pass through while sorbing liquid hydrocarbons, including petroleum, animal and vegetable oils. It is produced from recycled synthetic fibers using state-of-the-art technology that blends and processes the materials into a lightweight fiber mass with an enormous surface area and interstitial spaces creating a high-performance, durable and long-lasting sorbent and filter media. It can absorb an average of 13 times its own weight of liquid hydrocarbons and 85-90% of sorbed oils can be reclaimed from the Ultra-Filter-Tex® and the media reused. It is environmentally benign and user-friendly. It does not leach harmful substances into the environment and when incinerated produces minimal residue or ash. It is great for use in oil/water separators, stormwater and wastewater filtration systems and water “polishing” applications.
