No more guesswork about Drain Seal effectiveness Clear drain seals allow you to quickly see if spills are entering the drain through cracks in the surface, imperfections in the grating or other irregularities that can break the seal. The clear material provides an unobstructed view of covered drains enabling responders to make sure a complete seal is made. They are ideal for emergency response plans, spill kits, SPCC or stormwater management programs. Reinforcing mesh is “sandwiched” between layers of polyurethane increasing durability and resistance to tearing. Unique urethane construction allows the pad to deform and seal off most drains and temporarily “seals” to any smooth surface. It is reusable if it hasn’t been exposed to a chemical that has caused degradation. It can be cleaned usually with soap and water. Not recommended for long-term use. Helps comply with SPCC and NPDES.
