The Cast-in-Place Paver panel is a great long-term solution for any project or climate. Every one of our ADA pavers is made with a durable exterior homogenous glass, carbon, and fiberglass reinforced composite material; the thick, heavy panel and sturdy embedment ribs ensure a strong bond and superior structural support.

Each Cast-in-Place Paver panel is

• 1/4″ thick with embedded 3″ ribs, providing a tactile surface along the center
• Installed in newly built curb ramps or on construction sites
• Pressed into freshly poured concrete for a fully secure fit
• Protected by plastic sheeting across its entire surface

ADA Solutions’ Cast-in-Place Paver Tactile Surface products provide long-term durability. Suited for new construction and modified curb ramps, these truncated dome pavers hold up in any kind of weather and tolerate a great deal of abuse. The homogenous glass and carbon composite material is colorfast and UV stable, while integrated fiberglass truncated domes allow for a more durable tactile surface.

With a center-to-center spacing of 2.35 inches, the truncated domes are ideally designed to accommodate walkers, wheelchairs, shopping carts, and similar apparatuses. The dimensions of our cast-in-place paver detectable warning surface tiles can be customized for a special project if none of our standard sizes is suitable for the location.

All our tactile warning surface products are approved by all major Departments of Public Works (DPWs), municipalities, and state Departments of Transportation (DOTs). ADA Solutions is also in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) and Public Right-of-Way (PROW). California Title 24 requirements are also met by our truncated dome tactile surfaces.

Applications for Truncated Dome Pavers
ADA-compliant sidewalks with cast-in-place paver truncated domes are used in public and private spaces throughout the country. These kinds of detectable warning pavers warn pedestrians of changes in surface conditions (e.g., a transition from an intersection to a sidewalk or from a sidewalk to a ramp). They also help disabled pedestrians access areas that might otherwise prove too dangerous. Even in areas with poor visibility, the pedestrian can feel the truncated domes underneath their footwear or mobility equipment.

The all-weather, slip-resistant construction of our detectable warning surface makes it suitable for virtually all types of outdoor conditions in addition to indoor sites.

Our cast-in-place ADA pavers are specifically designed for new projects such as curb ramps. Install the tactile surface by pressing it into fresh, wet concrete. Each detectable warning system features a nominal thickness of 1/4″ and centered embedment ribs that extend 3″ along the length of the tactile surface.
