The Master Lock® No. S856 Retractable Cable Lockout Device, ideal for valve and other general lockouts, features a tough, flexible steel core cable with a red plastic coating. Designed with a built-in Cable Management System, the take-up reel and internal ratcheting mechanism only allow for tension to be increased on the cable – even after safety padlocks are applied. The contoured thermoplastic cable housing withstands harsh environments and allows for the stacking and transportation of multiple devices. Includes high-visibility, write-on safety labels in English, Spanish and French. 9′ multi-stranded steel cable insulated with a clear, UV resistant, PVC free plastic coating. Cable device has a reel-style cable management feature to enhance portability. Lock holes for up to 4 padlocks. Feed the cable end through the points to be locked out, then back to the lockout body. Use the reel mechanism to cinch it tight to remove any slack. Push button to release cable.
