Ergodyne® Skullerz® 8977 Safety Helmet, Type II, Class C, One Size, White

The Skullerz® 8977 Type 2 Safety Helmet is a Class C Safety Helmet with a 6-point suspension and an EPS foam interior halo for all-around impact protection. This helmet provides heavy-duty, yet lightweight and comfortable head protection designed to shield the front, back, top and sides of the head from falls, dropped objects or bumping into stationary objects. Compared to 4-point suspension systems, the 6-point suspension better disperses the force of an impact. The compact helmet design improves visibility and a chin strap ensures the helmet remains secure to the wearer’s head upon impact or during sudden movement such as a slip, trip or fall.

ADDITIONAL IMPACT PROTECTION
The safety helmet meets ANSI Z89.1-2014, Type 2, Class C requirements. The suspension and shell design of this helmet provides added side, front and back protection compared to an ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type 1 requirements. This increased coverage also meets the impact, and penetration resistance requirements of EN12492: 2012 clauses 4.2.1.2, 4.2.1.3,4.2.1.4 and 4.2.2 and retention system (chin strap) design, strength and retention system effectiveness clauses 4.13, 4.2.3 and 4.2.4
