How to Use Trauma Straps

• Pull the straps out of their packs
• Clip the straps together
• Step into the straps

Orthostatic Intolerance or Suspension Trauma

• Blood can accumulate in the veins while in a sedentary position
• Reduction in quantity and/or quality (O2 ) of blood flowing to the brain and kidneys
• May be fatal

• Faintness
• Breathlessness
• Sweating
• Paleness
• Hot flashes
• Increased heart rate
• Nausea
• Dizziness
• Unusually low heart rate or low blood pressure
• Graying loss of vision
