The lower belt restricts pedestrians from ducking under the belt, provides guidance for the visually impaired using a cane and makes this product ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant. WeatherMaster’s stainless steel stanchion post features a two piece construction which allows the lower belt mechanism to be easily replaced in the field and unscrews from the base so the unit can be stored flat when not in use. With a recycled rubber base and powder coated stainless steel post the WeatherMaster is designed for outdoors use.
